I am an artist (photography, sculpture) who is making a line of jewelry. The first ring I made was 14 apple seeds stitched together and cast, created to meditate on seeds as a symbol for growth, creativity, renewal and faith. Since then, I have been thinking of rings as intimate wearable art. I wanted to make rings that would be symbolic and full of meaning for the wearer, that have narrative and tell a story, and which go through every day of your life with you.

Also, my caster uses only reclaimed metal that is already in circulation, so there is no mining involved.
